Here are the policies of Lane Street Inn
For our protection and yours, we ask that you please familiarize yourself with our policies and the laws we must comply with. As your hosts, we want all of our guests to feel as comfortable as possible.
Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 7 and Title 66, Chapter 17 provides the state laws that govern our business.
All Reservations must be held with a credit card; however, you may pay with cash, check or a different credit card upon check-in.
Guestrooms - For most dates, we require at least seven (7) days advance notice for cancellation. If you cancel your reservation less than seven (7) days prior to your scheduled check-in date, your credit card will be charged for one (1) night at the rate plus tax quoted in your reservation confirmation.
Celebration Guestrooms - The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration occurs during the last two weeks of August and extends through Labor day in September. This is a very high-demand period in Shelbyville. Full payment is due upon booking your Celebration dates of stay. Your payment is not refundable. Cancellations are not accepted.
Event Cancellation - At least a 50% deposit is required to secure your event date(s). We require at least thirty (30) days advance notice for cancellation of events. If you cancel your event reservation less than thirty (30) days prior to your scheduled event date(s), your deposit will not be refunded. If your event occurs less than thirty (30) days from the date of booking, full payment of event fees and taxes are required at the time of booking and are not refundable.
Please note, the Retreat package is considered an event and thus such reservations are subject to our Event Cancellation policy.
We take our guests' privacy seriously. We will never give, trade nor sell your contact information to third parties.
By interacting with our website, our web server may automatically recognize your domain name and e-mail address.
We may collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Website, the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our blog and/or social media sites, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail addresses of those who make postings to our chat areas, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number, fax number and payment information.
The information we collect is held securely and privately. It may be used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site and may be used by us to contact you for marketing purposes.
Unless you specifically opt-in, you will not receive regular daily, weekly or monthly e-mails, newsletters, blog updates or subscriptions. We will only send e-mails periodically and only if we think you will benefit from the information sent.
We appreciate our guests and respect your privacy.
Unfortunately, there are individuals and organizations who may obtain our customers' information from unrelated websites and in so doing may determine our customers' relationship with our business, our website and social media websites in which Lane Street Inn may participate. These "black hat" criminals might then falsify their e-mail addresses to make it appear that e-mails they send you are coming from Lane Street Inn.
As fellow netizens, we cannot tolerate this type of activity. If you ever receive a suspicious e-mail that appears to be coming from Lane Street Inn, please do not open it and please delete it immediately.
